Super sweet with elements of bourbon in the finish.

I have to admit I didn't appreciate at first, but now that I have tried various bourbon barrel beers and American and imperial stouts, I could honestly say this might be one of the best I've had, perfect combo of smokey bourbon and chocolate, yea it has the burn for an aftertaste but its above 14% your going to get that, hats off to this beer..4.5 stars

Thick, creamy, chocolatey, not too much bourbon flavor however. And at 14.9%...fantastic

2-21-14. A little sweet but pretty good. Boozy smell but not overly boozy flavor. Little to no head. Very complex flavor and nice full mouthfeel.

I always get this when I'm in Chicago. It's probably my favorite overall beer. I love the mouthfeel mixed with the boozieness attempting to be covered by that chocolate all while being quite smooth and drinkable. Complexity in a glass if I've ever seen it.
