davl22 - January 13, 2018Pitch black, khaki colored head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving a small ring, aroma is like sniffing a box of chocolates, mocha, vanilla, bourbon, caramel, maple, walnuts are there but in the very back, very light and prickly carb, flavor is similar but less complex, jack and coke, slightly thinner mouthfeel than I expected, a little cola on the finish which is normal for porter but typically not imperial porter. Alcohol warmth. Really good beer.
