Although this is still a great beer, it has changed a little since I had one of the originals with the wax coated cap. The flavor is still there with notes of coffee, cocoa, and vanilla. The small burn from the peppers is still there as well. Overall, a great beer but with a somewhat hefty price compared to other great stouts. The original bomb was also 14% ABV. All in all, I enjoy purchasing the Christmas gift set every year I can find it.

12% ABV nice dark colored stout very little head retention. Good body can taste the spice from peppers throughout but not overpowering.

Sweet and rich stout with a bit of a kick. Fantastic! My only issue with Prairie is that they are really proud of their work. $$

Strong coffee notes with a settled sweetness finish.

After all the hype I read, I was really excited, and I paid $7.99 for one, 12 oz bottle. I couldn?t drink it. I had to pour it down the drain. It tasted like coffee, robotussin and MD 20/20. I?m sure some folks like this kind of thing, but I don?t like coffee-flavored beer.

Chocolate, coffee, cinnamon. Amazing. 5 stars.
