Surprise! Big hop aroma and a smooth, black taste. Very good black IPA!

Yum! What a surprise! I didnt like spotted cow so I didn't have a good first impression of new glarus. But this delicious black ipa won me over! Chocolate, molasses, even citrus tones. A nice mix of hoppy and heavy. 4.5 stars!

The very dark color makes you expect a stout or porter. Good hop flavor with very subtle chocolate malt undertones.
