Got at the Deschutes pub in PDX for $20. Extremely smooth and the 11.6% ABV doesn?t overwhelm. Very satisfying with a slight warming vanilla flavor.

Bottled 6-15-16. Had again 5-22-21 and rated it a B+. Still fairly simple, but balanced chocolate, vanilla, bourbon and hint of orange.

B+. Rated it a C in a flight of other years because it was a bit simple. Needs to age.

Sweet and bourbony but a bit too much roast bitterness to raise above 4/5. Not to be confused with smoke or peat-smoked character, which I adore. $17 in 2016.
