A. Huge and smooth, boozy in a good way. Had 28,27 and 26 back to back. 28 was an A, 27 B-, 26 B. Still think the 24 was the best ever. 26&27 had fruit which made them a bit sour.

Very nice. Great flavors. A lot happening with this beer but it comes together well.

WOW! Having this at a Deschuttes tap fest. Wonderful bourbon imperial porter without an overpowering barbecue or alcohol taste. Really smooth with a long lingering finish. XXV is going to be my next glass. This may just be the single best beer I've ever had.

Bought on sale for 50 percent off so bought two. 10/14/12 had the first. Pitch black color, carmely smoke on nose, kind of sweet on first taste with a smoke finish, maybe sweet from dates and figs, fairly smooth finish, over all not bad.

Delicious! Hidden abv, great sweetness, nice caramel lingering plus an underlying bite. Very, very good. Classic deschutes stout/porter high viscosity and warmth

Yum! Dark, delicious and oh so smooth. Very strong beer. After one sip you will feel the euphoria.

First word that comes to mind after the first sip? Wow! Recommend to me based off my love for the Alaskan Barley Wine Ale, I chilled this bad boy for enjoyment. Enjoy it I did. The caramel and liquor smell invites the mouth to open and sip what entices the nose. While not super smooth it is smooth enough to drink quickly but why rush it when it tastes so good? The black as night malt beer is sweet and complex and yet very satisfying. In short, I love this beer sealed in wax and will have another for certain. While I was told this was better than the Alaskan by the one that suggested it, I have to disagree. It is different than the Alaskan. They are both incredible beers not to be passed up. 24 is a good number. And a great beer.
