Dark amber color, minimal lacing. Smells of dark caramel malt. Malt coats the tongue, tastes like it was aged in whiskey barrels. Has a bit of a band-aid, tannic flavor. Interesting beer, worth trying. Not my bag.

Not as good as others but good. Not bad at all but a tad limp next to other wees I've had. High ABV but no big taste to back it up. I'd definitely have again but given similar choice probably not

Dark yet strong. Not the normal scotch ale. Complex and Carmel to the taste. Very heavy yet drinkable. Nothing I have frank before. Shall try this again.

Draft, goblet
Dark, clear brown with a slight amber hue. Nonexistent head except for around the rim. Has a sweet malty molasses nose, and almost smells like a sour. Taste is sweet with a medium smooth mouthfeel. Finish is wet. The malt is quite complex, I don't know how to describe it: sweet, almost tart, a little warm/smoky.

Dark caramel color. Medium bodied. Malty . Fruit sweetness with sherry undertones. More sour than bitter at the finish.
