For an Octoberfest somewhat decent.

Pours reddish orange with a white head. Had an off flavor until it warmed up. Flavors of malt, hops, and alcohol. In fact, I did a double take on the 5.5 % ABV. Not as balanced as others.

Not a bad beer, but just average for a Marzen. It's light bodied and slightly bitter at the finish. It lacks the traditional maltiness.

Sweet malt start with a very mild bitter finish. A little too sweet for a Märzen

Nice golden Octoberfest with slight yeast aftertaste. Good Octoberfest. Would I buy again? Yes. My score 4.5

Not as sweet as some other Marzen Lagers we tasted, which was good-strongly flavored, medium viscosity, good balance.
