Very Smooth, very rich with lots of tastes in chorus. I preferred drinking this on it's own rather than with any menu because of its character.

Good beer, easy to drink. But not a stand out in a field of other well-made stouts.

First glacé is beautiful dark body with tan head.
The taste is a bitter coffee.
The aroma has a hint of sweetness.

Appearance:
Opaque, thick tan head
Aroma:
Dark plums chocolate
Taste:
Dark chocolate, coffee, dark fruit, slightly bitter sweet finish.
Mouthfeel:
Full bodied, but Surprisingly smooth
Overall:
Dark rich stout, not hoppy, bitter sweet, burnt/caramel flavored.

One of the most foul things I've ever tried to swallow. Maybe I got a bad bottle since so many others seem to like it. Forced myself to take another drink in case it was just me. Rest of it got poured out.
