Of course its good. Its Bells and its bourbon barreled. File this one with Dragon?s Milk. Very good. Medium body, which is a small letdown. Rich but not overly. Goes down pretty easy, relative to others of the same type. October 2017 vintage, drunk in April 2020. A gift from Steven, after Michigan Outdoor Beer Fest.

Hmmm...a very high quality stout, for sure. Strong smell of bourbon on the nose. Initially quite smooth and creamy. As it warmed up, I actually liked it a little less. I found it to be a bit too boozy for my taste. However, looking at it from a critical standpoint, I can see why people like this one so much. Perhaps it just wasn?t the right stout for me.

Don't want to sound like a hater but way overrated.... Too much Booze...oaky and heavy bourbon, usually wouldn't complain but not much else to compliment the bite.. I know this is a combo of bells stouts but can't identify either.. Not #10... Not top 100 either.. Drinkable but not top tier

Five years of searching and waiting. Walked into my store and my guy, Deep, takes me by the arm, pulls me to the back of the counter and says, "My friend, have I got something for you!" Then he lifts an empty box to reveal a 4 pack of this. He said he got one 4 pack by mistake and the distributor was coming back for it. They weren't there and I was, so he sold it to me by "mistake". Right place, right time! Pours black with a thin brown head. Smells of dark chocolate, oak and whiskey. Tastes similar to smell. Looked pretty watery on the pour but feels creamy. Really well crafted and blended. Great beer!

Deep brown, very thin head disappears. Sweet bourbon chocolate aroma. Taste is outstanding, vanilla notes and chocolate, bourbon is present but not overwhelming. Crazy smooth silky finish. Overall, one of the best BBA stouts I've had. Bottle, August 2015.
