A decent beer that plays like a Scotch Ale. A better example of the style than other beers from this brewery.

Strong malty beer with a little hop bite to offset. Seemed to have a little too much alcohol taste, but it was sixth beer and was eatin crawfish, need to try again. Bottle, May 2013.

Does a good job of hiding the alcohol behind a pleasant creamy taste seeing as it is a hefty 8.5% abv. 2 or 3 of these will have you healthily buzzed.
