This beer (Hop Program Beer III) was rated 11 times before me and the avg of 3.5 just doesn't do this beer Justice. Yes, it is a hopped ale and the hop heads must be disappointed but Maine Brewing got this right! 5/31/2016

This might be the best black ipa I've ever had. Super fresh very flavorful its amazing. Jet black in color with a slight khaki head. A complex aroma of very fresh vegetal hops followed by grassy and earthy aromas. Medium in body this beer is incredibly drinkable. Nice flavors of fresh hop forward grassy and fresh followed by a roasted coffee finish. A kickass black Ipa!
