Really enjoying a pint can while staying at Staybridge Suites in Greenville, SC. Surprising, no wait, mind boggling that I like a beer this much from this brewer. Never have been a fan but this is really good.

Pretty nice stout but was expecting a bit more. A little more bitter than I was expecting. Might be a nice beer to age for a year or two.

For a dark beer it was surprisingly sweet

Full stout good for that

This is by far one of the best imperial stouts I have had.

Smooth, bourbon taste. Not boozy but can taste alcohol in a pleasant way.

A. Way better than regular Narwhal. Flavors really mellow out with aging and the barrel adds good complexity. A big sipping beer. I had the 2014. 2016 release of rum and wine barrel were both great too. Each different, not sure I have a favorite. 2015 great in 8-4-19 tasting.
Had a 2014 at end of 2019, it held up great, no aged taste. 2019 was the canned version release and it did not disappoint.

Very good lingering dark notes of coco and stone fruit. Slight bourbon in the back.

Excellent beer. Rich and creamy mouthfeel. Barrel aging adds more complexity to an already very good stout.

Bourbon taste hustle perfect. I wholeheartedly endorse
