Lighter ale with a strong bourbon flavor. Balanced nicely so not overpowering. Nice bourbon drinkers beer but maybe not paired with bourbon. I would definitely try this again with a food pairing like bourbon glazed pork chops

First few sips you get the bourbon taste, but after that it's just another tasty Ale. 4.5 rating from this guy.

Poured from a growler at roughly room temperature. Rich and malty, with big, buttery ribbons of vanilla and light caramel, maybe just a hint of that devil uisge beatha on the back end. Mine's a happy mouth. Subtle notes of oak, or maybe stonefruit and pine, I couldn't be sure- I'm not a lumberjack. Though I'm quite certain I could skip and jump and press wildflowers and be pretty damn happy to do so right about now.

Big boozy bourbon beer. Would like it better with 4 inches of snow on the ground. Next to no carbonation. Compares favorably with Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale.

Very good. Relatively light for a bourbon beer.
22 oz. bottle.

The label proclaiming this seasonal ale aged in bourbon barrels excited me to the purchase. I wasn't so highly rewarded for my endeavor upon my first sip. Full of bitterness of an IPA and a hint something went wrong in those barrels, this will be a one time purchase.

Awesome flavor, nice and strong hint of the whiskey barrels without overpowering the brew. Great color as well, definitely recommend. Quite different from your average brew, for better not worse

Solid and STRONG! Like it. Like Belgian mixed with brown ale. Nice taste all around.
