This bottle has been aged for about a year or more. There?s not a strong whiskey taste like most barrel aged beers. It has just the right amount of carbonation and is thick. Being a white trashy beer connoisseur, I?m drinking straight from the bottle and not pouring it in a glass. I?m sure there would be decent lacing in a glass and I?m sure a small head if poured in a glass. The aroma is strong and I?m considering buying a four pack. Overall, this is a nice stout but overpriced at $9.75 per 12 ounce bottle.
