Cliche nice reddish tinged slight ring if head. Nose is bourbon boozy with some truffle chocolate forward presence, and just a hint of fruity cherries. Taste begins with roasted chocolate but finishes with woody bourbon booziness yet a solid complexity. A hint of smokiness and some fruit as well. Very drinkable for its ABV and bourbon-forward intensity. Carbonation is slight which would be fine except body is underwhelming for the style. Medium
yet the complexity demands more
