Very interesting. Served by the bottle. It's a dopplebock. It had a pretty strong raisin flavor to it. The malt(s) are very complex, and a bit dark into the fruit flavors. I can't pin down a flavor, but it might be the maple hint in the aroma and flavor.
There are just a lot of flavors going on here. It might be a little too sweet for me (reminds me a bit of Wild Blue's fruitiness, but has more hops accent and complex malts).

Damn good beer from the green lands of Germany!! Dark beers usually never fail me!!

Beautiful looking beer. Rich and malty, sweet bread and chocolate flavours. Very mild hops. Fantastic beer.

A wonderful concoction. Obviously it tastes of bread pudding and raisins, but in a far more subtle way than korbinian. Overall great, but take note of mouthfeel next time as didn't this time.

Pours Beautiful reddish/brown color with a rich creamy head. Slightly sweet hints of caramel. Luscious mouth feel. Absolutely wonderful beer!
