Very thick, almost coffee taste, very deep and dark for a lager, it's not bad it's just strong on the palette

Mild lager...lacking the dark roasted finish.

Not crazy about this.. Like the abv and the light texture of this beer which stands out in the marzen category.. But besides that fairly bland.. Also getting subtle taste of that phoney chocolate flavor to finish.. Yep that same nasty taste that's in their decadent chocolate ale.. Really bummed out by this cuz atwater has produced amazing brews in the past. Disappointing... Probably one of the worst marzens I've had to date..

Nice and smooth marzen with sweet coco malt. Pretty good beer

Chocolate hint to a lager is a different but nice touch

Good Ofest, but needs one end kick to move into the high rank of OFests.

Very dark red, pretty weak head. Smells pretty malty and a tiny bit roasty. Taste is not very strong, kind of watery. Mostly sweetness. Limited aftertaste. 3.5/5, but pretty good for a lager

Good brew with a little bit of bitterness. Has some smokey carmel hues. Good stuff!
