01/30/13 : Thick alcoholic head with aromas of cherries and plums. Light but sweet caramel with hints of peat blends to strong sour cherries, raisins, and burnt sugar. Long lingering zesty and burning finish.

Very drinkable for 8.9 ABV. Just seems a bit vapid in character. I was expecting more.
