hankman2k - October 7, 2012The beer was very floral, hops first. A very strong ale that you will not forget. I felt it was much better as it came to room temperature. I'm more of a dark beer/malt kinda guy. Obviously, this beer is neither. So my two star reflects my feelings.

diggler - September 21, 2012Of all the styles
All the settings
No matter the weather
It seems to hit the spot at all times
Prob my favorite of many favorites

samuelcaseycarter - September 20, 2012A - dark almost blackish deep red brown. Head nicely retains is creamy and laces very nicely for a strong ale more reminiscent of a Belgian.
S - stuffy nose tonight so hard to get the bouquet but crisp clean and hoppy comes through with some deep caramel in the back.
T - so drinkable for so big a beer. Balanced bitterness throughout washes down the rich milk chocolate and light coffee notes. Almost steely clean finish for so massively malty a beer.
M - the elegant bubbles and superb water make for a dangerously drinkable brew.
O - yes. More. Now.

DaxAttack - September 17, 2012Strong. Sweet, and good hop balance. Leans towards an ipa, very malty though.

gunghoeagle - August 22, 2012Dark brown color, floral aroma with a nice head when poured in a glass. Very hoppy beginning with a surprising smooth finish on the tongue. Very strong ale with a 7.2% alcohol content. Not for the faint of heart.
