The 2014 edition is a 10% abv hit. This is a very smooth barley wine. The only 1 I like better is Goose Island's bourbon county. Not too boozy and the only thing the separates the 2 is GI has a certain sweetness that this one doesn't. It is sweeter but just not to the GI capacity

Unusual flavor with heavyness scotch like aftertaste. Not sure if like it, but would not drink more than one at a time.
