TheHopHead - December 3, 2013Excellent beer, with lots of dank and resiny hop aroma, a light smooth body and not too much bitterness- all in all, an ipa that I would love to drink all night. It has a strong lager-like character, similar to Sam Adams double agent ipa. Awesome beer, especially for the price.
Update: I had to take away some stars as this beer fails to be consistently good. Some batches are quite sub par, lacking in hop character and even with funky yeasty off flavors. If only they were all as good as the first. Still good value but not something I'll be seeking out in the future.
TheHopHead - December 3, 2013Wow! Pours a clear golden, little head. Nose is awesome, lots of pine and resiny character, with a bit of lager-like quality. Light body, super smooth, not especially bitter, with a nice resiny hop finish. Similar to Sam Adams double agent IPL. Excellent. 6.1%, 22 oz bottle for $3.69
