Great tasting dunkel ! Pours mahogany with big head big lace . Smells like caramel poured over bread. Tastes as it smells and so smooth and creamy

Slightly sweet and malty; lively yet smooth; medium amber color

An interesting melding of the two styles and the taste is right on point. It has the body and sweetness of a dopplebock and the roasted malt character of a dunkel. Tasty.

Caramel in color with an off white thick head and biscuity burnt caramel aromas. Very smooth and thick like liquid bread with a malty caramel finish. A very viscous mouthfeel, my holy grail from my Germany trip 2009 when I hiked three miles to the Bavarian holy beer! Had it tapped in the zum Schneider 20 June 2013, very excited they are here thought I would never have this beer again
