Smells like a cup of java and tastes like one too. Deep right coffee and smoky flavor with a hint of chocolate. Nice desert beer or after dinner beer

The vanilla flavor just doesn't work for me. It does not pair well with the coffee malts. By comparison, Breckenridge's vanilla porter works much better than this one.

Medium body, black in color, hoppy aroma, strong coffee note with hints of chocolate. The finish is similar to coffee in that it lingers and fades with a roasted nut flavor.
