I like the smell of raw fresh hops on a brewery tour but not when i have a beer. Gave away the other 5 bottles of the 6er.

Pretty good though taste is a little to bitter and somewhat flat. Ok for the road.

Not a fan of IPA beers by any stretch but this one's pretty damn good.

Pours a bright golden amber with about an inch of large-bubbled white head that dissipates very quickly to just a slight ring that leaves minimal lacing on the glass. Quite clear, with moderate visible carbonation. When I inhale it, I get a very nice hop profile in the nose--quite floral, with notes of pine, cut grass, citrus, and tropical fruit. Malts assert themselves underneath. There's just the slightest hint of flower bouquet. Do you get those bready malts at the outset like I did with some of those floral hop notes coming through almost immediately. The grassy notes come through quite quickly, as does a bit of that tropical fruit--the sweetness of pineapple and a bit of mango. The malts continue to play a part through the middle, as well--pretty balanced flavor on this one. The back end brings a citrus rind bitter on top of the other flavors, and the bitter aftertaste lingers for just a little while. It is a bit lighter-bodied than I prefer, but it's crisp, tart, a bit creamy, and bitter in turns. While it does drink a bit watery, it has a nice level of carbonation. This is a great example of IPA from Founders and is really quite tasty. Perfect summer camping beer, too bad I couldn't carry a six in my backpack during our trip to the Rockies this summer!

Like a spritzer with a citrus node aftertaste

Citrus flavor but a bit bitter. Refreshing nonetheless.
