chunksofgunks - December 24, 2012Didn't live up to the hype. Tasted like a slightly above average Imperial Stout. Boozy, decent taste and overpriced. Many better selections for less money. Actually adjusted rating to a 2. Most stouts get better as they warm. This got worse and I reluctantly drain poured the last bit.

Pitch black color brown had great aroma of toasted malts and coffee
Coffee really comes out.
At 12% you can slightly get the boozy notes but barely. Great chocolate taste a a second bold taste.

sLamurai - February 13, 2012My favorite stout! Heavy coffee and chocolate Caramel notes. Thick, creamy and scrumptious. Pours a beautiful head. Amazing finish and aftertaste. High alcohol content is masked well by the rich flavors
