bugs318 - June 27, 2013Actually 10% ABV. Nice reddish brown color. Sweet plums nose. Fruity and sweet up front but with a decently dry finish, though the sweetness builds as the glass empties and increasingly tastes almost like artificial sugar. Carbonation and body are as they should be, but tingly effervescence is nearly too sharp and prickly.
bugs318 - June 14, 2013pours a nice reddish-brown and offers notes of sweet plums and a hint of licorice. Taste-wise it is fruity and sweet up front with a fair drying finish. Quite good at first, but the sweetness seems to grow as it gets consumed and begins better than each subsequent sip. Still, quite good if room to grow. Grade: A-
