bdub30 - July 28, 2013Pours very dark with no head retention. Nose of chocolate, roasted coffee and malts. Taste the chocolate and coffee. Slightly more hops than I expected. Sweet throughout.

amhartfiel - July 25, 2013Head vanishes very fast. Smells malty, chocolate, roast, coffee, sweet. Tastes: roasted, chocolate, slight hoppy taste followed by sweet roast. Creamy throughout. Sweet. Very sweet.

mrd775 - July 13, 2013Not super chocolate-y. Other than that, super awesome. Really mellow, roasted flavor. Not really any indication from the high ABV. Enjoyed this one a lot.

tcvlex - February 17, 2013Not as nice as some other chocolate stouts, but nice all the same. Worth a try if you like thick, sweet beers. I was introduced to southern tier vanilla and nothing beats that. Too bad it's seasonal. This one works.

bier30 - November 2, 2012Better than fcb chocolate stout
Thicker mouth feel, smoother, not much bitter after taste. Not fully thick, but nice and malty, slightly sweet.

pichapower - August 21, 2012A really good stout, little light for an imperial. Would like a bit stronger cream/chocolate flavoring
