Pours very dark with no head retention. Nose of chocolate, roasted coffee and malts. Taste the chocolate and coffee. Slightly more hops than I expected. Sweet throughout.

Head vanishes very fast. Smells malty, chocolate, roast, coffee, sweet. Tastes: roasted, chocolate, slight hoppy taste followed by sweet roast. Creamy throughout. Sweet. Very sweet.

Not super chocolate-y. Other than that, super awesome. Really mellow, roasted flavor. Not really any indication from the high ABV. Enjoyed this one a lot.

Not as nice as some other chocolate stouts, but nice all the same. Worth a try if you like thick, sweet beers. I was introduced to southern tier vanilla and nothing beats that. Too bad it's seasonal. This one works.

Better than fcb chocolate stout
Thicker mouth feel, smoother, not much bitter after taste. Not fully thick, but nice and malty, slightly sweet.

A really good stout, little light for an imperial. Would like a bit stronger cream/chocolate flavoring
