Way over spiced. I need to learn to stay away from spiced beers. The base beer is actually quite nice it is too bad they ruined it by adding so much spice.

Not bad for a Christmas beer. Spices are a bit over the top. Wouldn't want to drink more than one of these at a time but if in the right mood it's pretty good.

Smells great but spices are overwhelming. My first let down from southern tier.

This is maybe the most unique Christmas ale/ winter warmer I've had. Scent and initial taste was completely pine, but other spices continued to hit me

Nice aromas. Nice Christmas beer. I have tried a few different Christmas beers and this one really rises to the top.

Definitely different. Smells like a Christmas tree & tastes a bit like curry

Easily one of the best Christmas batches/Winter warmers I've had, certainly the most unique. It's absolutely packed with unique spices. Malt-forward with a deep red body and floral, piny nose. Fig and cinnamon (or/and perhaps some nutmeg) dominate the spicy flavours and compliment standard characteristics very well. A sweetness of feel and texture are balanced nicely with earthy characteristics.

One of the best Christmas beers I've had. Great spice - clove, cinnamon, orange, fig are all very noticeable. It's sweet so perhaps better as a dessert brew. Really enjoyed this one.
