Cowboy Mike - December 20, 2013Way over spiced. I need to learn to stay away from spiced beers. The base beer is actually quite nice it is too bad they ruined it by adding so much spice.

BishopX18 - December 17, 2013Not bad for a Christmas beer. Spices are a bit over the top. Wouldn't want to drink more than one of these at a time but if in the right mood it's pretty good.

jat117 - December 15, 2013Smells great but spices are overwhelming. My first let down from southern tier.

cobra14 - December 15, 2013This is maybe the most unique Christmas ale/ winter warmer I've had. Scent and initial taste was completely pine, but other spices continued to hit me

furnish112 - December 8, 2013Nice aromas. Nice Christmas beer. I have tried a few different Christmas beers and this one really rises to the top.

cfaris - December 3, 2013Definitely different. Smells like a Christmas tree & tastes a bit like curry

Higgsyboy - December 2, 2013Easily one of the best Christmas batches/Winter warmers I've had, certainly the most unique. It's absolutely packed with unique spices. Malt-forward with a deep red body and floral, piny nose. Fig and cinnamon (or/and perhaps some nutmeg) dominate the spicy flavours and compliment standard characteristics very well. A sweetness of feel and texture are balanced nicely with earthy characteristics.

mrd775 - December 2, 2013One of the best Christmas beers I've had. Great spice - clove, cinnamon, orange, fig are all very noticeable. It's sweet so perhaps better as a dessert brew. Really enjoyed this one.
