A great sipping beer. I open a bottle to share with friends on special occasions or a nightcap at the end of the evening.

2011 vintage. Drank 9/30/11 from snifter. Little to no head, medium amber in color. Sweet hoppy nose. Honey, plum, raisin flavors at first followed by strong hop finish.

When they get it right, it's so delicious.

Very hoppy, sweeter than I anticipated. One to savor slowly

Super sweet. Too sweet. A slight bitter finish, which is nice, but only if you get it fresh. Once aged, (or just a few months old) all bitterness from the hops are gone and what's left is a beverage similar to a barleywine. Sip with care and drink it cold.

I was hesitant to try this because I'm not an IPA drinker. But wow, glad I went for it. Extremely tasty, low bitterness, and some nice fruit/floral tastes. One of my favorites now.
