Too sweet and syrupy, for my taste. From a great brewing co., however. Would probably have another in the rare occasion of its existence.

Pretty good. But it's not worth all the money they charge u for it. The cheapest I found was 10$ for a single 12oz bottle. Unbelievable!!! I'd rather get the 90min to be honest with ya. It only comes out once a year so I get a bottle every year.

Based on the comments of others, I can speculate that perhaps I had an off batch of this, though I suspect not. I found it to be cloyingly sweet, with acrid chemical overtones. I found it very reminiscent of the sickly sweet fruit wine my grandfather makes in his basement.
No one can deny the Dogfish Head has been one of those breweries on the forefront of the craft brewing frontier, and for this we owe them a hearty thanks! Yet in my opinion this offering serves as a reminder that bigger is not always better.
