dwagner003 - March 14, 2013Almost opaque. Very strong flavor of dark raisins. Initially sweet with a rather abrasive finish. Very boozy tasting. Not a huge fan. 3 stars.
pogo177 - September 17, 2012Dark brown with some ruby highlights. Tall tan head. Mild sweetness, raisins on the nose. Smooth balanced flavors. Dark fruits and a mild molasses flavor. Warms slightly toward the end. Clean finish.

olepoole - August 17, 2012Wow! As far as dark Belgians go, this is great! It's got that plum raisin dark deep Belgian flavors that are SO good. A great finisher beer.

EarthOddity - June 10, 2012Thick, and full bodied. Sweet at first but with a very smokey finish. One of the best ales i've had the pleasure of tasting! Two thumbs up! Bottle artwork is beautiful too!
